# Shanghai Gold Exchange adjusts margin levels and price limits for certain contracts

> The Shanghai Gold Exchange issued a notice to adjust the margin levels and price limits of certain contracts. Starting from the settlement at the close on September 5, 2025, the margin level for contracts such as Au and mAu will be adjusted from 13% to 14%, and the price fluctuation limit will be adjusted from 12% to 13%; the margin level for Ag contracts will be adjusted from 16% to 17%, and the price fluctuation limit will be adjusted from 15% to 16%

The Shanghai Gold Exchange has issued a notice regarding the adjustment of margin levels and price limits for certain contracts. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Risk Control Management Measures of the Shanghai Gold Exchange," the margin levels and price limit ratios for gold and silver deferred contracts will be adjusted. The relevant matters are notified as follows: Starting from the settlement at the close of trading on September 5, 2025, the margin level for contracts such as Au, mAu, Au, Au, NYAuTN06, and NYAuTN12 will be adjusted from 13% to 14%, and the price limit will be adjusted from 12% to 13% from the next trading day; the margin level for Ag contracts will be adjusted from 16% to 17%, and the price limit will be adjusted from 15% to 16% from the next trading day
