# CHANGYUAN POWER completed a year-on-year decrease of 6.03% in power generation in August

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, CHANGYUAN POWER (000966.SZ) announced that in August 2025, the company completed a power generation of 3.771 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year decrease of 6.03%. Among them, thermal power generation decreased by 9.40% year-on-year, hydropower generation increased by 151.30% year-on-year, and new energy generation decreased by 8.62% year-on-year.

From January to August 2025, the company accumulated a total power generation of 24.590 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year decrease of 1.91%. Among them, the cumulative thermal power generation decreased by 1.89% year-on-year, the cumulative hydropower generation decreased by 27.30% year-on-year, and the cumulative new energy generation increased by 14.29% year-on-year
