# September 5th Midday Review: The ChiNext Index rose 3.48% in half a day, with the new energy sector collectively strengthening

The market fluctuated and strengthened in the morning, with the ChiNext Index leading the gains. The new energy sector collectively surged, with stocks like GMK and HSC hitting the daily limit; in the photovoltaic and energy storage sectors, stocks like TONGRUN EQUIPMENT and Tiantong Co., Ltd. also reached the limit. CPO, PCB, and other computing hardware stocks rebounded collectively, with GHKJ and Kecuan Technology hitting the daily limit, and VGT rising over 10%. Most individual stocks rose, with about 3,900 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets in the green, and a total turnover of 1.4 trillion in the morning session. At the noon closing, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.35%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 2.01%, and the ChiNext Index rose 3.48%
