# The actual controller of ORIENT-CHIP TECHNOLOGY proposed to repurchase company shares for 20 million to 40 million yuan

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, ORIENT-CHIP TECHNOLOGY (688061.SH) announced that on September 5, 2025, the company's board of directors received a letter from the actual controller and chairman, Mr. Luo Liquan, proposing that Shanghai ORIENT-CHIP TECHNOLOGY Co., Ltd. repurchase its shares. Mr. Luo Liquan proposed that the company use its own funds and special repurchase loans to repurchase shares through the centralized bidding trading method on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, with a total repurchase fund amount: not less than RMB 20 million (inclusive) and not exceeding RMB 40 million (inclusive). The repurchased shares will be used for the employee stock ownership plan or equity incentives at an appropriate time in the future and will be transferred within three years after the repurchase is completed
