# MESNAC: Huakong Energy plans to invest USD 13.87 million to establish Huazhong Energy Thermal Power Co., Ltd

MESNAC announced that its holding subsidiary Huakong Energy has signed a "Joint Venture Agreement" with FIREMAX TIRES CO., LTD, SINO FOUNDATION ENGINEERING CO., LTD, and UBE DEVELOPMENT Co., Ltd. to establish Huazhong Energy Thermal Power Co., Ltd. in the Special Economic Zone of Jujing County, Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia, to invest in a biomass power plant project. The registered capital of Huazhong Energy Thermal Power Co., Ltd. is USD 13.87 million, with Huakong Energy contributing USD 7.0737 million from its own and raised funds, holding a 51% stake. This investment does not constitute a related party transaction and does not constitute a major asset restructuring as defined by the "Administrative Measures for Major Asset Restructuring of Listed Companies."
