# In the past ten years, nearly 700 equipment products in Chongqing have been included in the first unit promotion catalog

The Chongqing Economic and Information Technology Commission stated that since 2015, nearly 700 equipment products have been included in the promotion catalog, promoting the transformation of technological breakthroughs into productivity, and is committed to building a world-class equipment manufacturing industry cluster

On September 6th, at the 2025 World Intelligent Industry Expo, Chongqing officially released the third batch of the list of major technological equipment products. A total of 64 new products covering six major fields: intelligent manufacturing equipment, energy-saving and environmental protection equipment, power and electrical equipment, transportation equipment, intelligent detection equipment, and medical equipment were selected. "We will promote the first equipment to continuously upgrade in the 'innovation - application - re-innovation' cycle, allowing more 'first breakthroughs' to grow into 'complete advantages'," said Tu Xingyong, Deputy Director of the Chongqing Economic and Information Technology Commission. At the same time, relying on the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, we will strengthen the collaboration between Sichuan and Chongqing, jointly creating a world-class equipment manufacturing industry cluster, and continuously exploring new blue oceans for market-oriented development. According to data from the Chongqing Economic and Information Technology Commission, since 2015, nearly 700 equipment products in Chongqing have been included in the first promotion catalog, continuously driving the transformation of technological breakthroughs into real productive forces
