# Linyang Energy signs a USD 54 million smart meter supply contract

According to the announcement from Zhitong Finance APP, Linyang Energy (601222.SH) has signed a supply contract for smart meters with Landis & Gyr Pty Ltd (referred to as "Australia Landis & Gyr"). The company will provide smart meter products. Based on the contract pricing calculations, the total contract amount is approximately USD 54 million, equivalent to about RMB 383 million.

The contract amount signed this time accounts for 5.69% of the company's audited total revenue for the fiscal year 2024. The execution of the contract is expected to have a positive impact on the company's operations and performance in 2025 and beyond, but it will not affect the independence of the company's business and operations
