# Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: Special rectification will be carried out on online chaos such as false advertising

He emphasized that the cultivation of enterprises and industries is very difficult, and irrational competition could destroy enterprises and industries in a short period of time, which must not be tolerated

Li Lecheng, the Minister of Industry and Information Technology, stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office that recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in conjunction with relevant departments, has been addressing irrational competition in key industries such as new energy, automobiles, and photovoltaics in accordance with laws and regulations. With joint efforts, initial results have been achieved. "The cultivation of enterprises and industries is indeed a difficult journey, but irrational competition can destroy a company and an industry overnight. We absolutely cannot tolerate such occurrences," Li Lecheng emphasized. In the next steps, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will continuously improve the modernization level of industrial governance, promote new industrialization within the framework of the rule of law, and carry out special rectification actions against exaggerated and false advertising, malicious slander, and other online chaos in certain fields, standardizing production behavior and creating a favorable public opinion environment
