# Li Xunlei: A-shares still have significant room for valuation improvement, and I remain optimistic about gold

> Li Xunlei, Chief Economist of Zhongtai International, stated at the "2025 Inclusion·Bund Conference" that there is still significant room for improvement in A-share valuations, mainly influenced by low deposit rates and loose monetary policy. He pointed out that the rise in residents' risk appetite and changes in real estate expectations are the reasons for the flow of funds into the stock market. Although the financing balance of A-shares has reached a ten-year high, compared to 2015, the leverage risk is controllable, and funds are more concentrated in growth areas such as technology and new energy. Li Xunlei continues to be optimistic about gold investment

"Regarding the driving factors behind the current stock market rise, I believe it mainly comes from the decline in deposit interest rates, as we have now entered a low-interest-rate era, rather than the growth in listed companies' profits." On September 10th, Li Xunlei, Chief Economist of Zhongtai International, stated at the "2025 Inclusion·Bund Conference." Li Xunlei noted that overall, the A-shares are still somewhat undervalued compared to other markets, and from a valuation perspective, there is still significant room for improvement
