# NIO's $1 billion equity issuance is priced at 43.36 yuan per share

> NIO-SW announced the pricing of a $1 billion equity issuance, involving a total of 181.8 million Class A ordinary shares, including the issuance of American Depositary Shares. The issuance price for each Class A ordinary share is RMB 43.36, representing a discount of 7.19% compared to today's (10th) closing price. The net proceeds are intended to be used for the research and development of core technologies for smart electric vehicles, the development of future technology platforms and models for its brands, the expansion of the charging and battery swapping network, further strengthening the balance sheet, and for general corporate purposes

NIO-SW (09866.HK) announced the pricing of a USD 1 billion equity issuance, involving a total of 181.8 million Class A ordinary shares, including the issuance of American Depositary Shares. The issuance price for each Class A ordinary share is HKD 43.36, representing a discount of 7.19% compared to today's (10th) closing price.

The net proceeds are intended to be used for investing in the research and development of core technologies for smart electric vehicles, developing future technology platforms and models for its brands, expanding the charging and battery swap network, further strengthening the balance sheet, and for general corporate purposes
