# PEIJIA-B: The Sutra Hemi-valve transcatheter mitral valve repair system has been applied for the first time in a clinical trial with human implantation

> PEIJIA-B announced that its strategic investment company Sutra Medical, Inc. has successfully completed the first human clinical trial implantation of the Sutra Hemi-valve transcatheter mitral valve repair system. The procedure was performed at Waikato Hospital in New Zealand on an 83-year-old high-risk patient who was unable to undergo traditional treatment due to severe functional mitral regurgitation. The patient recovered well and was discharged on the third day

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, PEIJIA-B (09996) announced that recently, Sutra Medical, Inc. (Sutra) (a company in which the group holds a strategic investment) successfully completed the first human application (FIM) of its Sutra Hemi-valve transcatheter mitral valve repair system. The surgery was performed on an 83-year-old high-risk patient with severe functional mitral regurgitation at Waikato Hospital in New Zealand, where traditional treatment options were not suitable. The patient recovered well and was discharged on the third day
