# European oil and gas stocks fell, with oil prices under continued pressure

European oil and gas stocks fell in early trading as concerns over oversupply continued to rise. Brent crude oil dropped 0.7% to $65.93 per barrel, with prices still under pressure. Derren Nathan, head of stock research at Hargreaves Lansdown, stated that the unexpected increase of 3.9 million barrels in U.S. inventories last week, coupled with OPEC+ members' plans to increase production, has raised market concerns about oversupply. In the London market, BP's stock price fell 0.7%, while Shell dropped 0.15%. France's TotalEnergies decreased by 0.65%, and Spain's Repsol and Italy's Eni both fell by about 0.4%
