# HISUN: Tigecycline raw materials obtained CEP certification

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, HISUN (600267.SH) announced that it has recently received the Certificate of Suitability for European Pharmacopoeia (CEP certificate) issued by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM) for tigecycline active pharmaceutical ingredient.

Tigecycline is primarily indicated for the treatment of infections caused by specific bacterial strains in patients aged 18 and older in the following situations: complicated intra-abdominal infections, complicated skin and soft tissue infections, and community-acquired bacterial pneumonia. The company's tigecycline active pharmaceutical ingredient obtaining the CEP certification demonstrates the recognition and affirmation of the quality of this active pharmaceutical ingredient by the European regulatory market, marking that this product is qualified to enter the EU and other markets that recognize the CEP certificate, bringing positive impacts for the company to further expand its international market
