# CATHAY PAC AIR: Temporarily suspends flights between Hong Kong and Kathmandu

> On the evening of September 12, Cathay Pacific announced on its official website that after a comprehensive assessment of the local situation in Kathmandu, it has decided to suspend all flights between Hong Kong and Kathmandu from September 15 to September 30, 2025, as a precautionary measure. Cathay Pacific stated that it is closely monitoring the situation and aims to resume flights to Kathmandu starting October 1, 2025. Cathay Pacific will proactively inform affected passengers, who can choose to rebook flights after October 1, 2025, or opt for a refund
