# CHANGHONG: AI empowerment saves nearly 100 million yuan in inventory costs

On the evening of September 15, Sichuan Changhong Electronics Holding Group's official WeChat account announced that product upgrades driven by AI empowerment have directly boosted the company's performance. In January 2025, Sichuan Changhong's smart display factory was selected as an "Excellent Smart Factory" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The factory has 18 intelligent production lines that deeply apply industrial robots, machine vision, edge computing, as well as 5G and industrial internet technologies, achieving automation coverage in key processes. According to a relevant person in charge at Changhong, the factory can now handle 6 million personalized orders annually, with a commercial inventory turnover rate increased by 145%, and the single inventory cost has saved nearly 100 million yuan compared to last year
