# Barclays Said to Invest $1 Billion in New York Office Renovation

(MT Newswires) -- Barclays (BARC.L) will spend $1 billion on the renovation of its New York headquarters, Bloomberg News reported Monday, citing a person familiar with the matter.

The British lender will reportedly add new trading floors, build amenities, and update the technology staff at its skyscraper in New York's Times Square. Construction work will start in mid-2026, with completion expected in 2030.

Barclays did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
