# Google launches experimental Windows application

> Google Group Product Manager Vinay Mahagaokar stated on Tuesday that they are testing a new Windows Google application designed to speed up search by allowing users to access information without leaving their current activity. The application is also equipped with Google Lens, enabling direct search, text translation, or image recognition on the screen. Mahagaokar noted that users can also receive deeper AI-driven responses in AI mode and continue exploring through follow-up questions and useful links

Google Group Product Manager Vinay Mahagaokar stated on Tuesday that they are testing a new Windows Google application designed to speed up searches by allowing users to access information without leaving their current activity.
