# The ChiNext index rose nearly 2%, reaching a new three-year high, with robotics concept stocks continuing to strengthen

1.  Overall trend: The market opened lower and rose throughout the day, with the ChiNext Index increasing by over 2% in the afternoon, reaching a new high in more than three years. Most individual stocks fell, with about 2,800 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets in the red, and today's trading volume was 2.4 trillion. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.37%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 1.16%, and the ChiNext Index rose by 1.95%.
    
2.  Industry sectors: Diversified finance, foldable screens, robotics, and wind power equipment sectors led the gains, while gold, retail, unified large market, and fertilizer sectors saw the largest declines.
    
3.  Popular concepts: Robotics concept stocks continued to strengthen, with NJEC, BCDC, and several other stocks hitting the daily limit. Semiconductor and lithography machine concept stocks surged, with Wavelength Optoelectronics hitting the daily limit, and SMIC's stock price reaching a new high. The intelligent driving concept remained active, with Zhongyuan Neipei and Shanzi Gaoke hitting the daily limit. On the downside, retail stocks collectively adjusted, with Sanjiang Shopping falling over 8%
