# T&K: The drug registration application for Methanesulfonic Acid Safinamide Tablets has been accepted

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, T&K (301263.SZ) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Anhui T&K Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. recently received the "Acceptance Notice" for the domestic production drug registration application for Safinamide Mesylate Tablets issued by the National Medical Products Administration (hereinafter referred to as "NMPA"). The NMPA reviewed the drug registration application in accordance with Article 32 of the Administrative Licensing Law of the People's Republic of China and decided to accept it.

Safinamide Mesylate Tablets are a selective inhibitor of monoamine oxidase B (MAO-B), primarily used for the treatment of adult patients with idiopathic Parkinson's disease (PD) as an adjunct therapy to stable doses of levodopa (L-dopa) alone or in combination with other PD treatments for patients with mid-to-late stage fluctuations
