# DMart, Eternal shares rise 2% on positive brokerage notes: Check latest target prices

The shares of DMart-parent Avenue Supermarts and Zomato-parent Eternal gained around 2 percent each on September 18 after brokerages issued bullish calls for the two stocks.

UBS raised its target price for Avenue Supermarts, while Goldman Sachs increased its target price for Eternal.

**UBS on Avenue Supermarts:**

International brokerage UBS raised its target price for Avenue Supermarts to Rs 5,600 apiece from Rs 5,050 apiece, according to the brokerage note cited by CNBC-TV18. The latest target price implies an upside potential of nearly 19 percent from the stock's previous closing price of Rs 4,717.3 apiece.

UBS called Avenue Supermarts a "major compounder" in India's consumption story. It expects DMart to enter a phase of significant rollout acceleration. It further noted that DMart is strengthening its e-commerce business. "It (DMart) is a winning business model for value-seeking middle and lower-middle income consumers, which DMart sharply focuses on," UBS wrote in its note.

Avenue Supermarts shares gained nearly 2 percent to hit an intraday high of Rs 4,818 apiece. The stock then pared some gains trade around 1 percent higher at Rs 4,753.20 apiece.

**Goldman Sachs on Eternal**

International brokerage Goldman Sachs hiked its target price for the shares of Zomato-parent Eternal to Rs 360 apiece from Rs 340 apiece. The latest target price implies an upside potential of nearly 10 percent from the stock's previous closing price of Rs 328.25 apiece.

Goldman Sachs noted that the growth momentum in Eternal's quick commerce arm Blinkit remains strong, according to the brokerage note cited by NDTV Profit. Blinkit's margins are likely to expand by 240 basis points over the next two quarters and breakeven EBITDA by December 2025, the report further quoted the brokerage as saying.

Goldman Sachs believes that the quick commerce business will be a great catalyst for the Eternal shares, although it hasn't been fully reflected in its share price yet.

Eternal shares jumped around 2 percent to hit a fresh all-time high of Rs 335 apiece after the positive brokerage note.
