# NANYANG TECH has completed the cancellation of 6.01 million repurchased shares, resulting in a decrease in total share capital

NANYANG TECH announced that on July 28, 2022, the company repurchased a total of 6,013,081 shares through centralized bidding, accounting for 0.6031% of the total share capital at that time, with a total amount of 106 million yuan. In July 2025, the company decided to change the purpose of the repurchased shares to cancellation in order to reduce registered capital. On September 18, the cancellation procedures for the 6,013,081 repurchased shares were completed, accounting for 0.61% of the total share capital before cancellation, reducing the company's total share capital from 990,929,102 shares to 984,916,021 shares. This cancellation complies with regulations and does not affect the company's finances, control, or listing status, and will also enhance earnings per share and boost investor confidence.
