# S&P Global and Alibaba Cloud have reached a strategic cooperation to provide AI-ready commodity data in China for the first time

> On September 18, S&P Global announced a strategic partnership with Alibaba Group's technology company Alibaba Cloud, introducing S&P Global's AI-ready data for commodities to China for the first time. Starting from August 31, Chinese customers can access commodity datasets covering energy, metals, chemicals, and agriculture more directly through Alibaba Cloud's object storage service. This data can seamlessly integrate with Alibaba Cloud's analytics services and AI engines, including the Tongyi Qianwen large language model
