# TIME WATCH issued a profit warning, expecting an annual loss attributable to shareholders of HKD 17 million, a year-on-year turnaround from profit to loss

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, TIME WATCH (02033) announced that the group expects to incur a loss attributable to the owners of the company of approximately HKD 17 million for the fiscal year 2025, while for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024 (fiscal year 2024), the profit attributable to the owners of the company is expected to be approximately HKD 33.6 million.

The announcement stated that the anticipated loss is mainly due to a decrease of approximately 22% in the group's revenue for the fiscal year 2025 compared to the fiscal year 2024, primarily as a result of global trade frictions weakening consumer sentiment in the Chinese retail market, which adversely affects local economic and employment growth; and due to the weak property market in Hong Kong and mainland China, leading to fair value losses on the group's investment properties
