# Xiaomi Auto answers netizens' questions: Why is there an OTA recall for the Xiaomi SU7 standard version, and what software upgrades have been made?

Xiaomi Automobile: We will provide free software upgrades for standard version Xiaomi SU7 vehicles within the recall scope through remote upgrade technology. If your vehicle is within this recall range, simply upgrade your vehicle's system version to Xiaomi HyperOS 1.10.0 to complete this OTA recall upgrade. This OTA software upgrade recall aims to further enhance the reliability of the assisted driving functions, including optimizing the speed control strategy for assisted driving and adding dynamic speed features, making the high-speed navigation assistance function more coherent. Xiaomi Automobile always prioritizes user safety as the first principle. Although this upgrade does not require physical replacement of any parts, we still manage and file it according to recall procedures. This OTA software upgrade recall only applies to certain standard version Xiaomi SU7 models produced before August 30, 2025, and does not involve other versions of the Xiaomi SU7. Relevant information has been published on the website of the State Administration for Market Regulation, and you can visit it for more specific information.
