# National Healthcare Security Administration: The 11th batch of centralized procurement requires companies that are below the "anchor price" to address public concerns regarding low-priced selections

On September 20th, the National Organization for Drug Procurement Office announced the 11th batch of national centralized drug procurement documents. Regarding the "anti-involution" principle of the 11th batch of centralized procurement, a relevant person in charge of the National Medical Insurance Administration emphasized that companies are required to quote no less than the cost. Each bidding company is required to make a commitment to quote no less than the cost. For companies that quote below the "anchor price," they are required to make a statement on the reasonableness of their quotes, explaining the specific cost composition, including manufacturing costs, period expenses, sales profits, etc., to address societal concerns about low-priced selections
