# Morocco Inflation Rate at 16-Month Low of 0.3%

The annual inflation rate in Morocco slowed to 0.3% in August 2025, down from July’s three-month high of 0.5%.

This marks the lowest rate since April 2024, driven by softer increases in food and non-alcoholic beverage prices, which rose by just 0.2%—the smallest uptick since May 2024, when food prices fell by 1.3%—compared to 0.9% in July.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.5% in August, rebounding from a 0.1% decline in July and marking the fastest monthly increase in seven months.
