# Closing Review: All three major stock indices closed in the green, with strong performance in the consumer electronics and semiconductor chip sectors

The ChiNext turned positive in the afternoon, with all three major indices closing in the green, and the Sci-Tech 50 rising over 3%. In terms of sectors, the precious metals sector remained strong, with Hunan Silver hitting the daily limit; the consumer electronics sector was strong throughout the day, with Hongfu Han hitting the daily limit, and stocks like Changying Precision and Hongxi Technology rising over 20%, while Guoguang Electric, Yingqu Technology, and Luxshare Precision also hit the daily limit; the semiconductor chip sector fluctuated and strengthened, with Zhongke Lanxun hitting the daily limit in the afternoon; on the downside, the large consumption sector collectively adjusted, with film and television, tourism and hotels, and dairy industries leading the decline, as Jinyi Film, China Film, and Tianfu Cultural Tourism hit the daily limit; the hyperbaric oxygen chamber sector weakened, with Hangyang Co., Ltd. leading the decline. Overall, more stocks fell than rose, with over 3,100 stocks declining. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index was at 3,828.58 points, up 0.22%; the Shenzhen Component Index was at 13,157.97 points, up 0.67%; and the ChiNext Index was at 3,107.89 points, up 0.55%. On the market, the precious metals, AI smartphones, and national big fund holding sectors had the largest gains, while the film and television, tourism and hotels, and China-South Korea Free Trade Zone sectors had the largest declines
