# People's Bank of China Pan Gongsheng: The issuance scale of Panda bonds by overseas institutions exceeds 1 trillion yuan

On September 22, during the introduction of the achievements in the financial industry during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Pan Gongsheng, the Governor of the People's Bank of China, stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office that by the end of July, foreign institutions and individuals held 10 trillion yuan in domestic stocks, bonds, and deposits and loans, of which 3 trillion yuan were in stocks, 4 trillion yuan in bonds, and 3 trillion yuan in deposits and loans. The issuance scale of foreign institutions' panda bonds exceeded 1 trillion yuan
