# The first international standard in the field of IEC railway transportation signaling technology hosted by our country has been officially released and implemented

Recently, the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) released the "Urban Rail Transit Signal and Control Systems for Non-UGTMS," which is the first international standard in the field of rail transit signaling technology organized by the National Railway Administration and led by China. This marks a new breakthrough in the internationalization of China's rail transit standards. The newly released international standard "Urban Rail Transit Signal and Control Systems for Non-UGTMS" is an important component of the rail transit signal control system standards. It specifies the functional requirements for signal and control systems in rail transit that rely on visual observation or use non-continuous train control supervision, applicable to all GOA0 and GOA1a automation levels of rail transit systems, laying a technical foundation for the interconnectivity, interchangeability, and compatibility of system equipment
