Overseas expansion model upgraded, sales of construction machinery products in the first 8 months increased by over 10% year-on-year

According to the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, in the first eight months of this year, the sales of various products in China's construction machinery industry achieved double-digit growth, while the export value of industry enterprises far exceeded the import value. The latest data shows that from January to August this year, the sales of various products in the construction machinery industry increased by more than 10% year-on-year. Among them, the sales of excavators reached 154,181 units, a year-on-year increase of 17.2%; the sales of various loaders reached 83,209 units, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%; and the sales of forklifts reached 976,026 units, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%. The latest data also shows that from January to August 2025, China's construction machinery import and export trade amounted to USD 40.398 billion, a year-on-year increase of 11%. Among them, the import value was USD 1.8 billion, a year-on-year increase of 2.84%; the export value was USD 38.597 billion, a year-on-year increase of 11.4%.
