# Douyin E-commerce: Strictly cracking down on QR code traffic fraud, has cleared 344 non-compliant stores

On September 25th, the Douyin E-commerce Safety and Trust Center issued the second announcement on cracking down on traffic fraud, stating that the platform has launched a special governance initiative against QR code traffic fraud, resulting in the removal of 344 violating stores and the implementation of measures such as freezing payments, halting settlements, and deducting penalties for related merchants
