# SINOTHERAPEUTICS: New specifications for Sitagliptin Metformin Extended-Release Tablets approved

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, SINOTHERAPEUTICS (688247.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Jiangsu SINOTHERAPEUTICS Co., Ltd. has received the "Drug Supplement Application Approval Notice" issued by the National Medical Products Administration. The supplementary application for the specification "each tablet contains 50mg of Saxagliptin and 500mg of Metformin Hydrochloride" for Saxagliptin and Metformin Sustained-Release Tablets has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration. Saxagliptin and Metformin Sustained-Release Tablets are suitable for adult patients with type 2 diabetes who are receiving combined treatment with Saxagliptin and Metformin Sustained-Release Tablets
