WHEE signed a contract for a waste heat boiler worth approximately 160 million yuan, with the contract target being the 2×450MW gas turbine combined cycle power plant project in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia. This contract will not have a significant impact on the company's performance in 2025, but it will help improve future performance. Once the project is completed, the annual power generation is expected to account for one-quarter of Cambodia's total power generation, laying the foundation for the company's expansion in the Southeast Asian clean energy market
According to the announcement from Huaguang Huaneng (600475.SH), the company has recently signed a procurement contract for the waste heat boiler of the 2×450MW gas turbine combined cycle power plant project in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. The contract involves the sale of waste heat boilers from the company to China National Machinery Equipment Corporation, with a total contract price of approximately RMB 160 million.
The signing of this waste heat boiler contract will not have a significant impact on the company's performance in 2025, but it will have a positive effect on the company's future performance improvement. Once the project is completed, the annual power generation is expected to account for one-quarter of Cambodia's total power generation, serving as a benchmark project in the region and laying a solid foundation for the company's subsequent deepening of regional cooperation and expansion into the Southeast Asian clean energy market
