# New Stock News | SigmaStar submits application to Hong Kong Stock Exchange to become the world's largest visual AI SoC supplier

According to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's disclosure on September 26, SigmaStar Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as: SigmaStar Technology) has submitted a listing application to the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with China International Capital Corporation and CITIC Securities International as joint sponsors.

The prospectus shows that SigmaStar Technology is a global leading fabless designer and supplier of visual AI SoCs. Relying on the core framework of "Vision + AI" and the core technological advantages of "Perception + Computing + Connectivity," the company's visual AI SoCs are dedicated to empowering edge devices across various industries with visual AI technology. As of June 30, 2025, the company has successfully designed and developed over 600 SoC products. During the track record period, the cumulative shipment of SoCs reached 454 million units.

SigmaStar Technology's solutions are widely applied in various edge devices, covering smart security, smart IoT, and smart automotive fields, and are continuously expanding into rapidly growing markets, including 3D perception application scenarios. Leveraging the company's market-leading position in the home service robot sector, SigmaStar Technology has successfully entered the broader smart robotics market and is seizing development opportunities in the edge AI inference SoC field with its expertise in network video recorder SoCs. Additionally, the company is actively laying out emerging fields such as automotive lidar and mobile imaging devices like AI glasses.

According to Frost & Sullivan, based on shipment volume in 2024, SigmaStar Technology is the largest visual AI SoC supplier globally, holding a 26.7% market share. Based on shipment volume in 2024, SigmaStar Technology's security visual AI SoCs rank first globally, accounting for 41.2% of the market share. Based on shipment volume in the first half of 2025, SigmaStar Technology's robotic visual AI SoCs rank second globally, with a 23.0% market share.

In terms of finances, for the fiscal years 2022, 2023, 2024, and the six months ending June 30, 2025, the company achieved revenues of approximately RMB 2.368 billion, RMB 2.02 billion, RMB 2.353 billion, and RMB 1.402 billion, respectively; during the same periods, the profits were approximately RMB 564 million, RMB 205 million, RMB 256 million, and RMB 120 million, respectively.
