# Former Vice President of CBHB Zhao Zhihong was sentenced to 10 years for bribery and just resigned in July last year

> Former Vice President of CBHB, Zhao Zhihong, was sentenced to ten years in prison for bribery. Zhao Zhihong resigned in July 2022 due to age reasons, and the official disclosure of his violations regarding the acceptance of gifts and money occurred on September 27, 2023. From 2017 to 2023, he repeatedly violated regulations by accepting gifts and high-end cigarettes and alcohol from subordinates and clients, and he was expelled from the Party and terminated from his employment due to other serious disciplinary and legal issues

Due to age reasons, former Vice President of CBHB Zhao Zhihong was sentenced to ten years in prison for bribery one year after resigning. On September 27th, the "Lianyun Jingu" website disclosed that Zhao Zhihong, former executive director, vice president, and chief risk management officer of CBHB, had violated regulations by accepting gifts and cash. According to the report, from 2017 to 2023, Zhao Zhihong repeatedly accepted cash gifts and high-end cigarettes and alcohol from subordinates and clients during key periods such as the Spring Festival. Zhao Zhihong also had other serious disciplinary and legal violations, was expelled from the Party, had his labor relationship terminated, and was sentenced to ten years in prison for bribery
