# IMEIK: Subsidiary obtains Minoxidil topical solution "Drug Registration Certificate"

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, IMEIK (300896.SZ) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Beijing Nuobote Biotechnology Co., Ltd. ("Nuobote") has received the drug registration certificates approved and issued by the National Medical Products Administration for minoxidil lotion with specifications of 2% and 5%.

It is reported that minoxidil lotion is a non-prescription dermatological medication. The 2% specification is used for the treatment of male pattern hair loss and alopecia areata; the 5% specification is limited to male use for the treatment of male pattern hair loss and alopecia areata. Minoxidil is a peripheral vasodilator that, when used topically over a long period, can stimulate hair growth in patients with male pattern hair loss and alopecia areata
