RiseSun's subsidiary, Meiya Airlines, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Hainan Aerospace City, aiming to promote the development of the seaplane aviation industry. With the country's opening up of low-altitude airspace and policy support, seaplanes have shown potential in emergency rescue and tourism sectors. Meiya Airlines Holdings has become the first certified operator of amphibious fixed-wing aircraft in China, possessing multiple flight routes and operational qualifications
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, RiseSun (002146.SZ) announced that its subsidiary Meiya Tourism Aviation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Meiya Aviation" or "Party B") has signed a memorandum of cooperation today with Hainan Aerospace City Low-altitude Industry Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hainan Aerospace City" or "Party A"). With the gradual opening of the low-altitude field by the state and strong support for general aviation industry policies, seaplanes have shown great potential in emergency rescue, tourism in Xisha, logistics transportation, and other fields. To seize development opportunities, both parties have decided to work together to promote the high-quality development of the seaplane general aviation industry. The company previously acquired a controlling stake in Meiya Aviation's parent company, Meiya Aviation Holdings Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Meiya Aviation Holdings"), for 625 million yuan, becoming one of the early real estate companies to hold a Class A general aviation company. Meiya Aviation Holdings currently possesses qualifications and experience for aerial sightseeing operations in Xisha, has successively obtained dual operating qualifications under Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) Part 91 and Part 135, as well as extended cross-water operation qualifications, becoming the first certified operator of amphibious fixed-wing aircraft in China, with a total of 25 approved routes covering 16 core operational points in Hainan
