# The semiconductor ETF rose over 1.3%, leading the U.S. stock industry ETFs, while the S&P energy sector fell by 1%

> On Thursday (October 2), the semiconductor ETF rose by 1.36%, leading the U.S. stock industry ETFs. The global airline industry ETF increased by 0.94%, while the biotechnology, global technology stocks, technology sector, and internet stocks ETFs all rose by at least 0.52%. The financial, healthcare, regional banks, and banking industry ETFs fell by up to 0.40%, the consumer discretionary ETF decreased by 0.72%, and the energy sector ETF dropped by 1.01%. In the S&P 500 index, the materials sector rose by 1.05%, the information technology/technology and telecommunications sectors increased by up to 0.49%, the consumer discretionary sector fell by 0.69%, and the energy sector declined by 1.02%

On Thursday (October 2), the semiconductor ETF rose by 1.36%, the global airline industry ETF increased by 0.94%, the biotechnology index ETF, global technology stock index ETF, technology sector ETF, and internet stock index ETF all rose by at least 0.52%. The financial sector ETF, healthcare ETF, regional bank ETF, and banking sector ETF fell by up to 0.40%, while the consumer discretionary ETF dropped by 0.72%, and the energy sector ETF declined by 1.01%.

Among the 11 sectors of the S&P 500 index, the materials sector rose by 1.05%, the information technology/technology and telecommunications sectors increased by up to 0.49%, while the consumer discretionary sector fell by 0.69%, and the energy sector dropped by 1.02%
