# The People's Bank of China has increased its gold holdings for the 11th consecutive month

As of the end of September, China's central bank reported gold reserves of 74.06 million ounces (approximately 2,303.523 tons), an increase of 40,000 ounces (approximately 1.24 tons) month-on-month, marking the 11th consecutive month of gold accumulation.
