For 20 days, with a daily suspension of 3 hours! Daqin Railway begins autumn concentrated maintenance construction

On the morning of October 7th, China's important energy corridor, the Daqin Railway, began its concentrated maintenance construction for the autumn of 2025. This will fully restore the performance of railway facilities and equipment after the peak summer energy transportation, laying a solid foundation for the supply of electricity and coal this winter and next spring. The concentrated maintenance construction will take place from October 7th to October 26th, lasting 20 days. During this period, the Daqin Railway will suspend operations for 180 minutes each day, completing tasks such as replacing 107.438 kilometers of rails in segments, replacing 15,700 sleepers in segments, compacting 519.408 kilometers of track with large machinery, and grinding 758 kilometers of track, as well as tunnel remediation, cable updates, and catenary maintenance. The China Railway Taiyuan Bureau will extensively use 67 sets of large construction machinery, such as large tamping machines and screening machines, along with 114 small machines like excavators, forming 126 construction teams with over 10,000 personnel, working simultaneously in a multi-disciplinary manner to improve construction quality and efficiency
