# Understanding the Market | Beverage Stocks Strengthen Against the Trend, Multiple Tea Companies Experience Surge in Store Sales During the Double Festival Holiday, Accelerating Expansion into Overseas Markets

According to Zhitong Finance APP, beverage stocks are performing strongly against the trend. As of the time of writing, Guming (01364) is up 13.51%, trading at HKD 24.36; Nayuki (02150) is up 6.45%, trading at HKD 1.32; MIXUE GROUP (02097) is up 6.28%, trading at HKD 426.4; Auntie in Shanghai (02589) is up 3.28%, trading at HKD 122.8; and Cha Baidao (02555) is up 3.16%, trading at HKD 8.48.

On the news front, according to reports from multiple media outlets, the "double festival overlap" of the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day in 2025, driven by factors such as the "holiday economy" and "travel boom," has led to a peak in customer traffic for new tea beverage brand stores. Data released by Cha Baidao shows that some scenic area stores have seen sales increase by nearly 2800%. "The 'autumn appreciation economy' has directly driven the sales performance of our scenic area stores and autumn new products," said a relevant person in charge of Cha Baidao. Sales growth at scenic area stores in popular "autumn appreciation" cities such as Nanjing and Guilin generally exceeded 600%. The increase in sales at Bawang Chaji stores located in transportation hubs, popular tourist cities, and scenic spots is also particularly significant. In places like Shanghai, Sichuan, and Guangzhou, several stores have an average daily cup volume exceeding 2,500.

Nayuki's domestic stores have also attracted a consumption boom, with average order volume and revenue per store nationwide achieving double growth year-on-year, and many stores seeing a more than 700% increase compared to the pre-holiday period, particularly in popular tourist cities such as Chengdu, Dalian, and Hengdian. Notably, Nayuki recently officially opened stores in the U.S. market, generating nearly USD 87,000 (approximately RMB 620,000) in revenue within three days of opening, selling nearly 13,000 products and setting a record for Nayuki store openings. With the establishment of its first store in the U.S., Nayuki's overseas expansion pace has clearly accelerated. According to Nayuki's overseas business head, the second Nayuki store in the U.S. has been confirmed to be located in the core business district of Long Island, New York, and is currently in the final stages, with an expected opening soon
