At the 2025 semi-annual performance briefing held by Jason Furniture this afternoon, an investor asked about the impact of U.S. President Trump’s announcement of high tariffs on imported building materials and furniture on the company's business. In response, the company's chairman, Kuang Guangxiong, stated that Trump's announcement to increase tariffs on global furniture applies globally, and the opportunities and impacts for furniture companies are the same. "In the short term, there will be a certain degree of objective impact on our foreign trade retail orders, but we will actively enhance the production efficiency and capacity expansion of our bases in Vietnam, Mexico, and the United States to reduce the impact of tariffs on our company," Kuang Guangxiong said
