# The national key research and development project participated by VCANBIO has been officially approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology

According to VCANBIO news, recently, the "Research and Development and Application of Key Materials for High-Quality Cell Culture Localization" national key research and development project, in which VCANBIO Cell Gene Engineering Co., Ltd. participated in the application, has been officially approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The project is led by Professor Li Huabing from Chongqing Medical University, in collaboration with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the Excellence Innovation Center for Molecular Cell Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Southern Medical University, VCANBIO, and 9 other units. It will effectively promote the localization of key materials for cell culture, solidifying the foundation for industrial development from the source of the supply chain and injecting stable momentum into the high-quality development of the cell industry
