# Xiaomi fell over 7% after reports that the doors of the SU7 car could not be opened following a fire in Chengdu

> Xiaomi's stock price fell over 7% today due to a suspected SU7 Ultra model catching fire in Chengdu. In the incident, four people attempted to open the doors and windows but were unsuccessful, and the vehicle was severely burned. The stock opened down 4.51%, hitting a low of 47.5 yuan, and is currently reported at 48.06 yuan, a decline of 7.67%

According to comprehensive reports from domestic media, early today (13th), a Xiaomi (01810.HK) car was involved in an accident in Chengdu, Sichuan. A vehicle suspected to be a Xiaomi SU7 Ultra caught fire after colliding while in motion. Videos circulating online show four people attempting to open the doors and windows but were unsuccessful, ultimately leading to the vehicle being severely burned.

Xiaomi's stock price opened down 4.51% today and the decline worsened, reaching a low of HKD 47.5. It is currently reported at HKD 48.06, down 7.67%, with a trading volume of 342 million shares, involving HKD 16.809 billion
