> HOUSTON, Oct 14 (Reuters) - Chevronasked federal regulators on Tuesday to consider its views on a motion filed by Venture Globalthat requested a time extension for the commissioning of its Plaquemines LNG plant.“Chevron has a substantial interest that may be directly affected by the outcome of this proceeding. No other party can adequately represent Chevron’s interests, and the public interest will be served by Chevron’s intervention,” it wrote in the filing.

HOUSTON, Oct 14 (Reuters) - Chevron (CVX.N) asked federal regulators on Tuesday to consider its views on a motion filed by Venture Global (VG.N) that requested a time extension for the commissioning of its Plaquemines LNG plant.

“Chevron has a substantial interest that may be directly affected by the outcome of this proceeding. No other party can adequately represent Chevron’s interests, and the public interest will be served by Chevron’s intervention,” it wrote in the filing.
