New Kai presented 16 "famous mountains" at the Bay Area Expo, and its subsidiary launched two domestic EDA software products

Xinkailai showcased 16 semiconductor devices named after famous Chinese mountains at the 2025 Bay Area Semiconductor Industry Ecosystem Expo and released two self-owned intellectual property EDA design software. The exhibition attracted a large audience, and despite the absence of real machines and presenters, the enthusiasm for visiting remained high. Xinkailai's subsidiary Wanliyan will also launch a new generation of ultra-high-speed real-time oscilloscopes with significant performance improvements
On October 15, the 2025 Bay Area Semiconductor Industry Ecosystem Expo (Bay Chip Expo) opened in Shenzhen, Guangdong, with semiconductor equipment manufacturer XinKaiLai becoming the star of the event. The first stop for all attendees was to find the XinKaiLai exhibition area, which was packed with visitors.

Reporters from The Paper observed on-site that XinKaiLai mainly introduced measurement equipment and process equipment, showcasing 10 types of measurement equipment and 6 types of process equipment using display screens with product images. All of XinKaiLai's products are named after famous mountains in China, such as the etching equipment ETCH Wuyi Mountain, thin film equipment PVD Putuo Mountain, and optical inspection equipment BFI Yuelu Mountain, among others.

Although there were no actual machines on-site and no staff from XinKaiLai to provide explanations, this did not dampen the enthusiasm of the visitors, who came in waves to view the exhibition. The reporters also spotted former Huawei director Xu Wenwei attending the exhibition.

In addition, XinKaiLai's subsidiary Qiyunfang released two domestically developed electronic engineering EDA (schematic and PCB) design software with completely independent intellectual property rights this morning. Another subsidiary, WanLiYan, will release a new product this afternoon—a self-developed next-generation ultra-high-speed real-time oscilloscope with a bandwidth exceeding 90GHz, enhancing the performance of domestic oscilloscopes by 500% and achieving a leap across multiple generations of products.
According to previous reports from the Global Times, domestic media cited industry report data indicating that the global EDA market has long been dominated by three international firms: Synopsys, Cadence, and Siemens EDA, which possess a complete and overall advantageous full-process product lineup. In the Chinese market, these three international giants currently dominate, holding a combined market share of over 70%.
XinKaiLai is headquartered in Shenzhen and has established R&D centers in domestic cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an, Wuhan, Chengdu, and Hangzhou, as well as overseas, creating an end-to-end R&D system covering basic material processes, components, and equipment.
