# Haitong International: Initiates coverage on SCIENTECH with an "Outperform" rating and a target price of HKD 28.94

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Haitong International has released a research report stating that it initiates coverage on SCIENTECH (02291) with an "Outperform" rating, predicting EPS for 2025-2027 to be 0.89/1.15/1.45 yuan. Considering the company's comprehensive product layout and the good development of its new business segments in recent years, and referencing both PE and PB valuations, a cautious approach leads to a target price of 26.62 yuan/28.94 HKD for the company.

The report states that in the first half of 2025, the company achieved operating revenue of 330 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 32.4%; and a net profit attributable to the parent company of 182 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.8%. The company is a leader in congenital heart disease interventional medical devices in China, with traditional business relying on biodegradable technology, steadily increasing profits, and developing heart valve products as a second growth curve. The firm believes that these two business segments will significantly enhance the company's profits in the next 1-5 years.

The company is a practitioner of the "interventional without implantation" concept, and its biodegradable occluders are highly popular.
