On October 16th, Jinshi Data reported that at the 8th Catering Industry Conference, Wang Puzhong, CEO of Meituan's core local business, stated that cost-effectiveness should not rely on internal competition among peers, but rather on merchants leveraging structural cost advantages to achieve comprehensive operational improvements. "Meituan will continue to position itself as a long-term operational platform in the catering industry, not merely as a traffic platform, but by deeply integrating into the entire operational chain of merchants."
