# Jointown: Gelong Bromide has received approval for the listing application of chemical raw materials

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Jointown (600998.SH) announced that its controlling subsidiary Beijing Jingfeng Pharmaceutical (Shandong) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shandong Jingfeng") received the "Approval Notice for the Listing Application of Chemical Raw Materials" issued by the National Medical Products Administration on October 16, 2025, approving the listing application for Glycopyrrolate.

Glycopyrrolate is a quaternary ammonium anticholinergic drug that selectively acts on the gastrointestinal tract, inhibiting gastric acid secretion and adjusting gastrointestinal motility. It can also specifically bind to and inhibit the M3 acetylcholine receptors distributed in bronchial smooth muscle, thereby dilating the airways. This medication can be used for gastric and duodenal ulcers and chronic gastritis, and it can also be used for maintenance bronchodilator therapy in adult patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (including chronic bronchitis and emphysema) to relieve symptoms
