# The Half-Day Express reports that the Hang Seng Index fell by 415 points; the Hang Seng TECH Index dropped by 168 points. Alibaba fell by over 3%, while HKEX and Kangji Medical reached new highs

Other heavyweight stocks such as Xiaomi, Tencent, and Meituan also experienced declines. Hengan reached a new high, rising 1.7%.
